Evergreen clause provides automatic renewal for successive one-year terms each August 1 unless the District gives written notice of intent to terminate at least twelve months before the start of the then-current term (August 1 of the prior year). Contracted price increases annually by OSPI’s apportionment increase for cost of living. District may cancel renewal based on performance if done by May 1, and may enact a 30-day cancellation for severe performance issues; Abilities Team must notify by March 15 if it will not fulfill the contract for the upcoming school year.
