Waxahachie ISD continues its agreement with the Waxahachie Police Department, begun in 2016, to provide school resource officers at Waxahachie High School and all junior high campuses. The Board reaffirmed this arrangement on July 30, 2026 as part of its alternative security standard under House Bills 3 and 121.
