CCISD, FDISD approve early childhood partnership

Copperas Cove ISD entered into an Early Childhood Education Partnership Agreement with Fort Davis ISD to provide tuition-free Pre-K through 2nd grade instructional services to eligible FDISD students using CCISD curriculum, staff support, and assessment tools. The interlocal agreement allocates a share of state funding generated by FDISD students back to FDISD, less a 5% administrative fee and multi-partner supervision costs, and runs through July 1, 2027 with automatic annual renewals.

Financial allocation details may be renegotiated 90 days prior to each school year and included in a new agreement.
