FDISD partners with CCISD for early learning

Fort Davis ISD entered into an Early Childhood Education Partnership Agreement with Copperas Cove ISD under which FDISD furnishes facilities, staffing, and support services for CCISD-delivered Pre-K through 2nd grade instruction. In return, FDISD receives a negotiated share of the additional state funding generated by its students, subject to administrative fees, multi-partner cost sharing, and restrictions on duplicative TEFA funding, through July 1, 2027 with automatic annual renewals.

Initial term ends July 1, 2027 and automatically renews for one-year terms starting each July 1 unless terminated by written notice. Ninety-day prior written notice is required to terminate at the end of the initial term; thereafter, 30 days’ notice before the end of any renewal term is required. FDISD and CCISD may renegotiate allocation payment details 90 days prior to each school year and embed any changes in a renewed agreement.
