Initial agreement term runs from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2028. After the initial two fiscal years, the agreement automatically renews on a yearly basis unless either party provides 180-day written notice of intent to terminate at the end of the then-current term year. Compensation increases by 4.5% each year and further changes must be negotiated and memorialized in a written amendment approved by both the City Council and Gateway’s Board of Directors.
