The WETA Board approved an agreement with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission to secure electric service for the Downtown San Francisco ferry terminal, including an initial engineering advance of roughly $1.12 million toward an estimated $10 million front-of-meter project cost. The agreement will enable a dedicated 10‑megawatt line needed to charge the new battery‑electric ferry fleet.
