McAllen ISD entered into an interlocal cooperation contract with The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley to provide speech language intervention, evaluations, and IEP-related services for special education students. The agreement, effective September 2, 2026 through May 29, 2027, compensates UTRGV on a per-evaluation and per-session basis with monthly invoicing.
