The City of Stockton and the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office executed an MOU under which the City donates its surplus dive equipment and trailer, and SJCSO assumes full responsibility for subsurface search and recovery operations in City waterways. The open-ended agreement includes 24/7 dive rescue coverage, joint training provisions, and SJCSO’s assumption of all costs and liabilities associated with the transferred equipment.
