City, County Sheriff sign subsurface search MOU

Description
The City of Stockton is entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office to transfer responsibility for subsurface search and recovery operations within City waterways. As part of the agreement, the City will donate SCUBA equipment and a trailer to the Sheriff’s Office, which will assume all related operational and maintenance costs under a 12‑month notice termination provision.
