Wallace, Duplin County To Consolidate Library Services

The Town of Wallace is poised to enter into a five-year Library Consolidation Agreement with Duplin County, under which the County will assume day-to-day library operations and staffing beginning July 1, 2026. The Town will phase out its share of personnel costs over four years, ultimately saving an estimated $180,000 annually while maintaining ownership of the library building.
