Avon Local Schools Awards Utilities Contract to Charter Communications Operating Llc (July 2026)

$3,790.00 per month for 12 months (Detroit Rd); $890.00 per month for 12 months (Long Rd)

UTILITIES

Initial 12-month Order Term starting 07/23/2026, with optional renewals and automatic month-to-month thereafter

Initial Order Term is 12 months from the effective date with options for Avon Local Schools to renew Dedicated Fiber Internet service for up to four additional 12-month terms and Ethernet service for up to two additional 12-month terms at the same MRC, by providing at least 30 days’ prior written notice before the end of each then-current term. After fixed terms expire without exercise of renewal options, the service order automatically renews month-to-month, and either party may terminate with 30 days’ written notice effective at the end of a Monthly Renewal Term. This order uses the first of five optional 12-month extensions for DFI and the third of five for Ethernet.
