The Infrastructure & Facilities Committee is asked to approve a Voluntary Public Crossing Closure Agreement with the Fox Valley & Lake Superior Rail System, L.L.C. to permanently close five at-grade public crossings in Wausau in 2026 and 2028. The closures will mitigate safety impacts and facilitate an uncontested new bike/ped railroad crossing for the River Edge Parkway extension near Gilbert Park.
