The Town of Melbourne Beach is asked to approve renewal of the Save Our Indian River Lagoon (SOIRL) Local Infrastructure Surtax Interlocal Agreement, which will continue the existing framework for distributing renewed half‑cent sales surtax revenues to fund Indian River Lagoon restoration projects through 2036. The agreement maintains county administration of the trust fund while allocating TMDL credits among Brevard County and its municipalities based on updated population formulas.
