County selects Employers Health CVS for pharmacy benefits

Iredell County plans to enter a three-year pharmacy benefits contract with Employers Health / CVS to replace BCBSNC’s current PBM arrangement. The agreement, implemented via a Participating Group Addendum to the Caremark–Employers Health Prescription Benefit Services Agreement, is projected to save about $439,000 per year over three years while maintaining a competitive local pharmacy network for employees and retirees.
