The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities partnered with the University of New Mexico to conduct a comprehensive study on pathways to eliminate natural gas usage by 2070. The project, running from January 1, 2025 through mid‑2026, combined surveys, experiments, and meter data analysis to inform future utility policy and planning.
