Water project funding and capacity increased for GWD

The Bureau of Reclamation, San Luis Water District, and Grassland Water District amended Agreement No. 17-WC-20-5024 to raise SLWD’s maximum construction funding to GWD from $13.7 million to $15.0 million and increase estimated annual O&M costs to $850,000, while expanding the Project to include the 216 Pump Station and Intertie Pipeline. The amendment also increases the Project’s maximum water supply from 16,500 to 30,500 acre-feet and clarifies when Level 2 exchanges for construction costs will cease.
