Burnet CISD approved an agreement with YMCA of Central Texas to operate a fee-based Afterschool Program at three elementary campuses for the 2026-2027 school year, with the YMCA bearing all staffing and operating costs. The YMCA will maintain $2,000,000 in liability insurance naming the district as additional insured and will use district facilities after school through the end of the school year.
