Clay County Seeks JPA With BCA For Background Checks

Clay County Social Services is requesting Board authorization to execute a Joint Powers Agreement with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to obtain federal fingerprint-based criminal background check information. Under the agreement, Social Services will submit fingerprints directly to the BCA and pay background check fees per the BCA rate schedule using existing funds.
