Maryville Approves Mutual Aid Agreement With Evergy

The City of Maryville approved an ordinance authorizing a Mutual Aid Agreement with Mullin Creek Generation Station (Evergy) for an F500 Encapsulator Agent foam trailer to enhance regional fire response capabilities. Under the agreement, Evergy retains ownership and funds certain costs while the City stores, maintains, insures, and deploys the specialized trailer for emergencies and training. The agreement is effective June 22, 2026, and continues for the life of the trailer unless terminated with 30 days’ notice.
