The Town of North Elba and the Lake Placid Olympic Museum executed a Memorandum of Intent for the Museum to assume ownership and full maintenance responsibility for the historic Olympic Cauldron. The Town will pursue a long-term lease of Show Grounds space to the Museum so the Cauldron can be preserved and displayed on-site.
