Jefferson County Public Schools, on behalf of Hawthorne Elementary School, is entering into a memorandum of understanding with Community Farm Alliance for a $5,000 School Garden Mini-Grant. The funding, anticipated for Spring 2026 through late 2026, will support raised beds, garden infrastructure, and bilingual harvest-to-table nutrition education programming in partnership with the Kentucky Farm to School Network.
