Le Grand Union Signs Onto Multi-District SDC MOU

Le Grand Union Elementary School District joined an interdistrict MOU with Weaver Union and Planada Elementary to participate in a shared TK–1st grade Special Day Class program. Le Grand will pay 25% of operating costs and cover individualized IEP services and transportation for its students while Weaver operates the program and retains ADA.

Initial term is three fiscal years (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2029). The MOU renews automatically in three-year increments unless Le Grand or another district provides written notice of non-renewal by March 1 of the final year of the current term. Le Grand may terminate with 60 days’ written notice, or with at least one fiscal year’s notice when termination is due to staffing reductions or programmatic changes, while remaining obligated financially during the notice year.
