Port Advances Emissions-Reduction Addendum With SCAQMD

The Port of Long Beach is considering an Addendum to its Cooperative Agreement with the South Coast Air Quality Management District to establish new incentive and funding programs that reduce emissions from ocean-going vessels and trucks over the remaining five-year term. The Addendum formalizes public process, enforcement mechanisms, and reporting obligations, and supports development of zero-emission infrastructure and utilization incentives.
