MOUs Planned for Regional Truck Infrastructure Funding

South Coast AQMD and each of the Long Beach and Los Angeles ports will negotiate MOUs to govern $20 million per port in funding for regional off-port truck charging and fueling infrastructure, including payment schedules, project selection, reporting, and reallocation of uncommitted funds. The MOUs must be approved by the South Coast AQMD Governing Board and each Port’s Board of Harbor Commissioners by February 28, 2027.
