Description

Niagara Region plans to transfer $2 million in capital funding from its Capital Variance Project – Levy to Niagara Regional Housing to expand and relocate the St. Catharines emergency shelter. The funding will support design, servicing, modular trailer setup for 90 units at a new leased site and decommissioning of the existing 29 Riordon Street shelter, bringing the total project cost to an estimated $7.5 million.
