The City of Watkinsville continues its funded engagement with the Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank, which provided a $1,530,405 grant and a $2,225,000 loan for the Simonton Bridge Road/Mulberry Street sidewalk connection. The financing supports construction of a multi-use pedestrian corridor linking downtown to Thomas Farm Preserve and adjacent neighborhoods.
