Marion County Schools, Lebanon agree to SRO funding

The Marion County Board of Education entered into a one-year Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Lebanon, under which the city will provide two school resource officers for district schools. The school district will pay one half of the officers’ salaries and benefits for the July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 term, with the city maintaining primary liability insurance for SRO activities.
