Agreement expires July 1, 2027, unless terminated earlier with 30 days’ written notice by either party. Funding responsibilities and terms for subsequent years must be renegotiated; parties must also renegotiate payment terms if the assigned officer becomes unavailable or if the Sheriff’s required pension contributions increase significantly.
