Oshawa will notify Durham Region that it cannot continue administering the Durham Region Childcare Subsidy Program under the current agreement after December 31, 2025, and will seek to negotiate a streamlined replacement agreement. The Commissioner of Community and Operations Services is authorized to enter into a new agreement once mutually beneficial terms are reached.
