Alief Independent School District executed an MOU with the Fort Bend County Juvenile Probation Board and FBISD to participate in the Fort Bend County Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program effective August 1, 2026. AISD may reserve JJAEP seats for up to $25,000 in 2026–2027, pay pro-rated charges for additional student placements, and must supply records and transportation for expelled students. The agreement extends through July 31, 2034 and automatically renews annually for up to eight more years unless withdrawn.
