The Board of Health for Madison and Dane County is asked to authorize Public Health Madison & Dane County to enter an agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to accept an in-kind award of 7,500 fentanyl and 4,600 xylazine test strip kits for community distribution in 2026–2027. The in-kind funds support the DHS Drug Checking Technologies Program’s harm reduction efforts targeting high-risk populations.
