Placer approves MOU for shared VDCI aerial services

The Placer Mosquito and Vector Control District approved an MOU with Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District effective January 1, 2026, to share Vector Disease Control International aerial pesticide application services for up to 100,000 acres per year. Placer will reimburse Sac-Yolo for 10% of VDCI’s annual charges, plus any additional acreage or third-aircraft costs, through December 31, 2030.
