The District approved a multi-year Memorandum of Understanding with the Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District to share VDCI aerial mosquito control services through December 31, 2030. Placer will receive up to 100,000 treated acres annually and reimburse approximately 10% of Sac-Yolo’s VDCI costs, estimated at $72,000 for 2026.
