The Port of Everett is considering approval of a 24‑month commercial lease with the WA Department of Fish and Wildlife for 1,000 square feet of office space in the SM-1 Building at a gross base rent of $18.47 per square foot per year with a 3% increase in year 2. Under the gross lease, the Port covers most operating costs while the state tenant is exempt from leasehold excise tax.
