Metro selects G+D for TAP card and fulfillment services

Description
Metro will award Giesecke & Devrient ePayments America Inc. a five-year IDIQ contract to both manufacture TAP contactless smart cards and provide exclusive fulfillment and distribution services under a program capped at $54.15 million across all vendors. The agreement supports end-to-end production, personalization, packaging, and delivery of TAP fare media starting July 1, 2026.
