Roane County has agreed to authorize an extra $250,000.00 in ARPA funding to the WBUD water/sewer expansion project. The City of Kingston, Tennessee has agreed that it and its Water Department will absolve Roane County, Tennessee of any and all responsibility for the excess due from the underbilling for water and sewer services provided by the City of Kingston, Tennessee and the Kingston Water Department to the Roane County Jail during the period of September 1, 2021 through November 30, 2023, the excess due being estimated to be $249,034.00.
