County to use Solid Waste Agency sewer infrastructure

Description
Linn County plans to enter into a Sanitary Sewer Discharge Agreement with the Cedar Rapids Linn County Solid Waste Agency to route county sewage through the Agency’s private sewer infrastructure. The County will pay an initial $1,000 annual maintenance fee plus volume-based disposal and capital repair assessments under an automatically renewing, year-to-year agreement.
