Aberdeen’s Public Works Department requested Council authorization to execute a $240,000 Federal Railroad Administration grant agreement for a corridor study of multiple rail crossings, supplemented by local funds from Aberdeen and Hoquiam. The planning study will evaluate crossing consolidation and safety improvements in support of a future quiet zone.
