City of Arlington Awards Financial Services Contract to Texas Department of Housing & Community Affairs (June 2026)

The City of Arlington authorized an Assignment Agreement allowing the Arlington Housing Finance Corporation to assign up to $10,000,000 of its 2026 private activity bond Reservation to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. TDHCA will issue bonds or MCCs to finance first-time homebuyer loans and will pay ongoing fees to the Housing Finance Corporation while assuming all related bond issuance and state fee costs.
