School Guardian Program Agreement With Sheriff

The Putnam County School Board approved an agreement with Sheriff H.D. "Gator" Deloach to implement and operate the Chris Hixon, Coach Aaron Feis, and Coach Scott Beigel School Guardian Program for the 2026–2027 school year. The Sheriff’s Office will train and certify school employees as armed Guardians and may provide off-duty deputies for campus coverage when separately contracted.
