Westminster City Council moved to authorize a bid waiver and up to $110,567 in spending with Front Range Fire Apparatus, LTD to refurbish a 2007 aerial ladder fire truck. The work will overhaul critical systems, extend the truck’s life by at least five years, and bolster the Fire Department’s reserve fleet at far less cost than a new $2.2 million apparatus.
