La Porte ISD approved a three-year fixed-price electricity supply agreement with MP2 Energy Texas LLC d/b/a Shell Energy Solutions at $54.71 per MWh for 78,280 MWh starting on or after June 1, 2027. The contract secures power for multiple district facilities in the ERCOT Houston load zone under supplier-consolidated billing.
