La Porte ISD is seeking Board approval of a Memorandum of Understanding with Texas Tech University to provide Texas Tech K-12 online courses as a supplemental instructional option, at an estimated cost of approximately $3,500 per student. The interlocal agreement will offer discounted course rates, waive the $200 admission fee, and bill the district on a semester basis once negotiations are finalized.
