Morgan Hill to bid on used Mountain View fire engines

The Morgan Hill City Council will consider authorizing the City Manager to submit a competitive bid to the City of Mountain View for two used 2009 Pierce Quantum fire engines, at no more than 115% of their independently appraised value plus taxes and fees. If the bid is accepted, the City Manager would be empowered to execute and manage the purchase agreement to bolster fire department frontline and reserve apparatus.
