Arlington Grants Atmos License For Pipeline Facilities

The City of Arlington is entering into a revocable license agreement with Atmos Energy Corporation to construct, operate, and maintain gas pipeline inspection facilities within designated public right-of-way on W. Harris Road. Ten (10) year initial term with up to two (2) additional five-year renewal terms; month-to-month holdover possible
Renewal
Initial 10-year term with up to two additional renewal terms of five years each, subject to mutual agreement and Arlington City Council approval. Atmos must give at least 90 days’ written notice before the expiration of the current term to exercise a renewal. After expiration, the agreement may continue month-to-month with CITY consent as a holdover tenancy. Either party may terminate without cause on 30 days’ written notice, and CITY may terminate for uncured default with 15 days’ cure period.
