Fruitland Park SRO services agreement approved

The City of Fruitland Park entered into an interlocal agreement with the School Board of Lake County, Florida to provide one sworn police officer as a School Resource Officer at Fruitland Park Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. The School Board will reimburse the City for the SRO’s salary, benefits, and any overtime on a monthly basis, with the agreement terminable on thirty days’ written notice.
