County Approves Wildland Fire Protection Agreement With CAL FIRE

The Board will approve an agreement with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) for the County to provide wildland fire protection in State Responsibility Areas from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029. The Fire Chief is authorized to accept CAL FIRE’s Gray Book and revise the Annual Operating Plan under the agreement.
