Rafael Blanco has been selected as the artist for the Town of Waynesville's America 250 NC Grant project to paint a mural of the Town's history and its namesake General “Mad” Anthony Wayne on the back of the Strand Theater facing Wall Street. The town received a grant of $27,000.

McGill and Associates have been awarded a contract for $12,500 to assist with the SRF Loan/Grant application for the Little Champion Pump Station. The company will provide professional services related to the wastewater collection and maintenance division. The State has awarded $209 million in funds to provide “State Revolving Loans” at “0 %” interest” to local governments to fund projects that would enhance storm mitigation efforts.
