BUNNELL LAMMONS ENGINEERING
Contract Approved for Landfill Cell Investigative Work

Macon County approves contract with Bunnell-Lammons Engineering for geological and hydrogeological investigative work on the site of a future landfill cell (Cell III). The contract requires firm charges to be based on a schedule of fees, with a not-to-exceed cost of $176,000. This is the first step in the overall development of the cell, and takes about a year to complete.

Telecommunication Tower Application Approved by Macon County

Macon County approves the application for the telecommunication tower as submitted by Pegasus Tower Company. The tower will serve an area where there is no cell phone service, with AT&T as the main tenant and other carriers likely to follow. Free space will be provided to Macon County Emergency Services.
