Baylor County

Baylor County is seeking applications from banks to be designated as a County Depository for public funds. Applications must be submitted by April 4, 2025, and bids will be opened on April 14, 2025. The county will select the applicant with the most favorable terms for a four-year contract with a two-year extension option.

Baylor County Commissioners Court is accepting sealed bids for roof repair or replacement at four different locations: the Courthouse, Museum, Extension Building, and Annex. Bids can be submitted for any or all properties, with separate bids required for each location. Alternate bid specifications are allowed.

Baylor County is requesting bids for roof work on the courthouse, including removal of existing spray foam, cleaning, scarifying, tear-off of saturated areas, priming, recoating with sprayed polyurethane foam, and applying acrylic coating. Bids are requested for various warranty options.

This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year's budget by $350,291, which is a 2.2% increase, and of that amount $194,289 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
